1. What this page covers
This page explains how to delete your account in the oriee app — a calorie counter and food diary — and which data is erased in the process and which remains. The app is published by MR Marcin Ruciński, ul. Wolności 546c/6, 41-806 Zabrze, Poland, Polish tax ID (NIP) 6482808866, contact: oriee.app@gmail.com. This is a translation of the Polish original, which remains the binding version.
2. Deleting the account in the app
- Open the oriee app.
- Go to the "Profile" tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose "Delete account".
- Confirm the operation.
We delete the account and all server-side data immediately, with no grace period and without any further contact from us.
3. Deleting the account without access to the app
If you no longer have the app installed, write to oriee.app@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion", from the email address assigned to the account. Please send the message from that address so that nobody unauthorised can delete your account. We carry out the request within 30 days of receiving it at the latest.
4. Deleting selected data without closing the account
You do not have to close the whole account to get rid of some of the data. Write to oriee.app@gmail.com from the address assigned to the account and tell us what to delete — for example the food diary alone, the weight history alone, or the values imported from Health Connect or Apple Health. We carry out the request within 30 days of receiving it at the latest, and the account and remaining data stay untouched.
5. Data we delete
- Account: user identifier, email address, the link to Google sign-in together with the name and profile picture URL passed by Google.
- Profile: sex, age, height, weight, activity level and goal.
- Food diary: logged meals, portions, nutritional values, streak.
- Weight and weight trend, including values imported from Health Connect or Apple Health.
- The subscription status stored on our side.
Deletion is irreversible. We keep no backups from which the account could be restored, and we apply no additional retention period to this data.
6. Data that remains
- Data stored locally in the app on your device. You remove it by uninstalling the app — we have no access to it from our side.
- Anonymous entries in our product database: normalised meal descriptions together with the recognised result, and names and nutritional values of products. These entries never contain your identifier or any information that would link them to you, so after the account is deleted they are not personal data and remain in the database.
- Payment history on the Google Play, App Store and RevenueCat side. The seller of the subscription is the store, so billing documents are subject to its rules and to tax obligations, and we cannot delete them at your request.
- Technical error logs on the infrastructure provider's side, deleted automatically. They do not serve to restore an account and do not contain your food diary.
