2. The service

oriee is an app for counting calories and keeping a food diary. Meal recognition features (text, voice, photo) use AI. Technical requirements: a device running a supported version of iOS or Android and — for online features (account, database search, AI recognition) — an internet connection. Without internet the app runs offline, with a limited set of features.

3. Account

You can use the app without an account (data stays on your device) or with one (sync). You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential. You can delete your account in the app: Profile → "Delete account".

4. Nature of the information (important)

Nutritional values and calculations (BMR/TDEE, calorie target) are indicative and educational. oriee does not provide medical or dietary services and does not replace advice from a doctor or dietitian. If you have any health concerns, consult a specialist.

5. Premium subscription

6. Rules of use

You must not use the app unlawfully or interfere with its operation.

7. Liability

We take care to keep the data correct, but we do not guarantee that the food database or the AI estimates are free of errors. We limit our liability to the extent permitted by law; we do not exclude liability towards consumers where the law forbids it.

8. Complaints

Send complaints to oriee.app@gmail.com. We will reply within 14 days of receiving your report. Complaints about the payment itself, renewal or a refund are handled by the store where you bought the subscription (App Store or Google Play). As digital content and a digital service, oriee is subject to consumer-protection law: you have the right to a service that conforms to the contract, and if it does not conform you may demand that it be brought into conformity and, where that is impossible or ineffective, a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract. For one year after supply, a lack of conformity is presumed to have existed at the time of supply. A consumer may also use out-of-court dispute resolution — including mediation by the Provincial Inspectorate of Trade Inspection or help from the district (municipal) consumer ombudsman.

9. Changes to the Terms

We will announce material changes in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the changes, you may stop using the app and delete your account before that date; the changes do not affect rights already acquired to services already paid for. Continued use after the changes take effect means acceptance of them, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

10. Governing law

Polish / EU law, respecting mandatory consumer protection provisions. Contact: oriee.app@gmail.com.
